tupac shakur s-a nascut in lesane parish crooks din brooklyn, ny in 1971. de pe cand inca2PAC Tupac Shakur s-a nascut in Lesane Parish Crooks din Brooklyn, NY in 1971. De pe cand inca era un mic copil , mama sa i-a schibat numele in Tupac Amaru dupa o profetie Incasa(indiana) , "Tupac Amaru", insemnand "Sarpele alunecos si stralucitor". "Shakur" inseamna "Multumitori lui Dumnezeu" in araba. Inca din copilarie , toata lumea ii spunea "Printul negru" . Din cauza comportamentului neadecvat a trebuit sa citeasca o editite intraga din "The New York Times". Cand avea numai 2 ani , sora sa ,Sekyiwa, s-a nascut. Cu Tupac doar un tanar adolescent , familia sa s-a mutat in Baltimore, MD, unde a urmat cursurile scolii "The Baltimore School for the Performing Arts"(Scoala de arte din Baltimore) unde a studiat actorie si balet. S-a mutat in Oakland, California impreuna cu restul familiei sale . In noimebrie 1994 el a fost impuscat de 5 ori in timpul unui jaf, in care hotii i-au furat bijuterii in valoare de 40,000 de dolari. Shakur si-a revenit miraculos pentru a produce cele mai impresionante succese artistice, acestea incluzand albumul sau din 1995 , "Me Against the World". In culmea unui rol in filmul "Above the Rim" si unui album premiat cu platina , "Me against the world," cariera ascendenta a lui Tupac a fost curmata. Odihneasca-se in pace !!!

boom! here comes the boom! ready or not, here comes the boys from the south.

p.o.d. have explodedBoom! Here comes the Boom! Ready or not, here comes the boys from the South. P.O.D. have exploded to the stratosphere with their finest work to date, the extraordinary "SATELLITE." A high-decibel blast of potent cross-cultural power rock, the San Diego-based quartet's second Atlantic Records release is at turns joyful, provocative, challenging, and utterly real. Co-produced by the band with Howard Benson (the man behind the board for P.O.D.'s RIAA platinum certified label debut, 1999's "THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF SOUTHTOWN"), tracks like the fervent first single, "Alive" or the emotionally charged "Youth of the Nation" find P.O.D. relentlessly reaching heavenward to evoke a sense of positive vibrations unique to today's rock n' roll. "All the great rock bands were always driven by passion and emotion," says Marcos, the band's versatile guitarist, "whether it's a negative passion and emotion or a positive passion and emotion. And for us, a lot of the rock that's out today - and I'm not saying any names - a lot of it's devoid of any type of emotion. It's all processed and done up in the studio. But to us, we always put all of our love and everything that we have into our music." "SATELLITE" was recorded at Bay 7 Recording Studio in Sherman Oaks, and Image Studios in Los Angeles over a three-month period in spring 2001. With Benson and longtime Metallica engineer Randy Staub at the helm, P.O.D. recorded nearly 20 new songs. The sessions saw the four musicians stretching out into the band they'd always envisioned themselves as being, a truly free rock unit incorporating an infinite variety of textures and styles - from reggae to rock, hip-hop to hardcore - into an already genre-blurring sonic arsenal. "There's not really a word that can describe P.O.D.," says Marcos. "If you were to go to each one of our homes and look at our CD collections, you would see everything from metal to punk to jazz to reggae, you name it. Everything. Except maybe country, but other than that, we have it all." "If it feels good, it feels good," notes Traa. "That's a P.O.D. rule. When I came to the band, I was very stubborn about what I wanted to play, but being with these guys opened me up to a lot of different music. And the most important thing with music is how does it make you feel? Not whether you like it or don't like it. If you feel good listening to something, then it's a good song. If you don't, then it's not." The notion that rock n' roll is meant to move and inspire is prevalent on "SATELLITE," especially on such tracks as the style-jumping "Ghetto" and the exultant anthem, "Alive." "We didn't have a name for it yet," says Sonny of the latter song's genesis, "but we were calling it 'Beautiful' because it made us feel beautiful. And that drove the direction of the lyrical content, because we wanted people to go, 'Hey, this makes me feel good.' We recorded the chorus I don't know how many times, because it was like, 'Let's take it up a notch. Let's take it higher.'" The lyrical content throughout "SATELLITE" - often poignant, often powerful, always passionate - deals with the band's outspoken belief in expressions of spiritual adventure and affirmation. A number of songs, including the Mexicali-tinted "Thinking About Forever" and the heartbreaking title track, were inspired by the death of Sonny's mother. 'Satellite' is about that person, that thing in the sky watching out for you," he explains. "Most people who lose somebody have that notion, that they're out there looking out for you, watching your back." Perhaps the most powerful song on "SATELLITE" is "Youth of the Nation." The track is the band's raw, wrenching response to the recent plague of school violence. "We had done a show for some kids that went to Columbine," says Sonny, "they wanted P.O.D. to play, just for a positive encouragement type thing. And it was always in the back of our minds, like, just what are these kids going through? This is the hardest time for kids." "It's always been a topic on tour," Marcos adds. "I don't want to say it inspired us, but it gave us the motivation to write something. Well, when we were writing this record, we wanted to be secluded so we went to Santee, in East San Diego, where we had this 35x35 rehearsal studio. One day we were on our way to practice, and we saw all these cops, but we didn't know what was going on. Later we found out what had happened." What had happened was tragic - on March 5th, a 15-year-old freshman at Santee's Santana High School drew a .22-caliber handgun and began shooting, killing two and wounding 13. "We were in the studio," Traa recalls, "we started jamming, and some eerie guitar notes started coming out, these dark drum beats鱅t just came together naturally, once again. We just told Sonny, 'Man, dig deep and write a story.'" "It was an emotional situation," Marcos says, "the main control room in the studio has a TV, and we're watching the news on there, thinking, "Man, this is a mess.' I'm the only one that doesn't have kids, but everybody was like, 'Dude, that could have been my kids in there,' or 'That could have been my sister.'" "SATELLITE" also sees P.O.D. joined in the studio by two of their heroes. Renowned Jamaican toaster Eek-A-Mouse appears on the cool-running "Ridiculous," while "Without Jah, Nothin" features the freestyle vocal pronouncements of the prodigiously talented - and notoriously eccentric - HR of the Bad Brains, long acknowledged as P.O.D.'s all-time favorite band. "You don't know if HR's crazy or what," he adds, laughing. "He walked into the studio with a birdcage with two parakeets in it, but I don't know exactly what that was about. I started hearing this chirping and I was like, 'Where'd those birds come from? 'Those are HR's birds.' I was like, 'Alright'" "Very few bands today have any respect for the past," Marcos notes of P.O.D.'s collaborations with their musical predecessors, "and how can you conquer the future if you don't know anything about the past? As a band, we respect the past, from soul to punk, anything you can think of that had emotion, we respect that. And there's a lot of elements that we've taken from those people and brought into our music that a lot of bands today don't even care about." P.O.D. have long been passing knowledge onto their legion of devoted fans, known as The Warriors. This fiercely loyal grassroots following drove the 1999 single/video "Rock The Party (Off The Hook)" to the top spot on MTV's Total Request Live - making P.O.D. the third-ever rock band to reach the #1 position in TRL history, with Korn and Limp Bizkit. The reason for the Warriors' passion is simple - P.O.D. are the real deal, a true-to-the-bone rock n' roll band whose heart and soul are always front and center. "We don't come with a gimmick," Wuv says proudly. "We're regular people just kicking it. We're just telling you our story." "We do what we know is right for us," Sonny affirms. "And that's it. We don't go out there and give a sermon when we get on stage, we don't shove anything down anybody's throat. But we sing about what's real in our life. And that's the bottom line." The men of P.O.D. grew up in the city of San Ysidro - a.k.a. "Southtown," a diverse community down near the California/Tijuana border. In 1992, the versatile drum-playing Wuv invited his hip-hop devotee cousin Sonny to take the mic in a fledgling hardcore combo he'd started with his guitarist friend, Marcos. With the addition the following year of the Cleveland-born Traa on funk-driven bass, P.O.D. was complete. They blew up stages with punk heroes like Green Day, Pennywise, and the Vandals, in venues ranging from skate parks to YMCAs, selling over 40,000 copies of four independent CDs on their own Rescue Records label before inking with Atlantic in 1998. Powered by the success of the singles, "Southtown" and "Rock The Party (Off The Hook)," "THE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF SOUTHTOWN" hit #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, going on to reap RIAA platinum certification. The critically acclaimed album was acknowledged as the San Diego Music Awards' 1999 "Album of the Year," with "Song of the Year" honors going to "Rock The Party (Off The Hook)," and P.O.D. taking home the "Best Hard Rock or Metal Group" trophy for the second consecutiveyear. In addition, the band were included among Rolling Stone's annual "People of the Year" for 2000. True to their hardcore roots, P.O.D. remain one of the hardest working bands in America, spending more than half the year on the road, playing largely to all-ages crowds at county parks, coffeehouses, colleges, and coliseums. They were main stage sensations on Ozzfest 2000, they toured alongside Staind and Crazy Town as part of 2000's MTV Return Of The Rock Tour, and in recent years have shared stages with Kid Rock, Linkin Park, Primus, Sevendust, and Korn. The band's Rick Rubin-produced "School of Hard Knocks" was the first single/video from 2000's Adam Sandler comedy, Little Nicky. P.O.D. tracks have appeared on the soundtracks to such films as Any Given Sunday, and Ready To Rumble. They've also made appearances on a number of high-profile TV shows, including NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Howard Stern Radio Show, and Farmclub.com, plus MTV's 120 Minutes, The Return of the Rock, and Rock N' Jock Bowling. In addition, Sonny has guested on ABC's Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher. "We're trying to be universal," Marcos says. "If we can get your grandma listening to us, if we can get the little three-year-old kid listening, then it's done. What is your purpose as a musician? You're playing an instrument so that people can hear you, man. Why do you play live? To be seen. And for your music be heard. If not, why in the heck are you playing guitar?" September 2001

In 2000 lanseaza propriul label, Chi Recordings, alaturi de Amb. Aici colaboreaza cu Beta si cu Kevin (FineCutBodies). A mixat, in cadrul evenimentelor Chi Recordings, alaturi de nume ca : Hybrid, Elite Force, Meat Katie, Fink, Lemon8, Paul Woolford, Switch and Swag, Wighnomy Brothers etc. In prezent, muzica lui, axata in general pe minimal house, cuprinde influente din dub, breakbeat, tribal, progressive, tech etc. In 2000 Naga a iesit pe locul 2 in cadrul votarii pentru ?cel mai bun dj maghiar? ? revista Wanted. In 2002 a primit un rol in documentarul ?Party People? regizat de maghiarul G?bor Zsigmond Papp. Totodata, in 2004, in urma colaborarii dintre Chi si Cinetrip, Naga se ocupa de partea audio a DVD-ului ?Brain Surgery?, bazat pe cartea ?A journey round my skull?, scrisa in 1937 de catre Frigyes Karinthy.

Prima piesa inregistrata de PARAZITII s-a numit « In’Jur » si a fost gata in toamna anului 1994. In iarna aceluiasi an celor doi li se alatura DJ Ies (FreakaDaDisk). Mafia). In 1996 urmeaza un nou album, purtand titlul « Nimic normal ». ( martie 1999). In iulie 1999, albumul « Nici o problema » vede lumina zilei la A&A Records. Urmatorul album apare in iunie 2001, dupa o luna de lucru infernala.

Adrian Eftimie: Inca din 1993 lucram in paralel radio / club (discoteca la vremea aia); tot timpul am lucrat in ambele domenii, nu ma pot despartii de radio, a fost, daca vrei, prima dragoste. Beat Factor: Se stie ca hit-urile iti aduc notorietate; dar te poti evidentia ca DJ doar incluzand hit-uri in seturile tale? Adrian Eftimie: Din contra, daca o sa pui hituri o sa fii ca oricare alt DJ! Eu ascult foarte multa muzica, aleg ceea ce-mi place si asta pun, ma bucur foarte mult cand vad ca prind piesele alese, daca as pune hit-urinu ar mai fi meritul meu. Beat Factor: Ce alte pasiuni ai, in afara de muzica electronica? Beat Factor: Ai relativ putine gig-uri in Bucuresti. Adrian Eftimie: As putea avea mai multe, problema este ca prefer sa pun in main in tara decat sa fac warm-up in Bucuresti, este o mica / mare diferenta. Dar in ultima vreme am avut prezente destul de dese si in Bucuresti. Adrian Eftimie: Cu mare placere: 01. jamie anderson - time is now (radio slave remix) 02. james talk - pass the suntan lotion (nick fanciulli remix) 03. efdemin - just a track 04. audiofly & paul harris - misecalte 05. sandiego - rogoredo Beat Factor: Crezi ca ar trebui interzis fumatul in cluburi? Adrian Eftimie: NU ! Artisi, piese, albume, compilatii? Adrian Eftimie: Ascult foarte des in masina si acasa: Eros Ramazzotti, Pink Floyd, Rage Against The Machine, U2, Corrs si de multe ori compilatiile Budha Bar. Beat Factor: Ai vreun eveniment/ stire importanta de anuntat? Adrian Eftimie: Da !

Studio Martin s-a deschis in 1993, in incinta cinematografului Volga, pe bulevardul Iancu de Hunedoara. A inceput apoi fenomenul house. Printre acestia se alfa nume ca Timo Mass, Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Hybrid, Derrick May, Craig Richards, Loco Dice, Lee Buridge, Satoshi Tomiie, Sandra Collins, Quivver, James Zabiela, Nick Warren, Ricardo Villalobos, James Lavelle, Gabriel and Dresden, Jimmy van M, Layo and Bushwacka, Sister Bliss. Managementul The Mission a contribuit din plin la evolutia clubului Studio Martin. Dupa cateva evenimente organizate sub marca The Mission, acesta declansat o adevarata invazie a DJ-ilor straini.

ice cube
ice cube is one of the most enduring, versatile, and engaging figures ever to emerge out ofICE CUBE Ice Cube is one of the most enduring, versatile, controversial and engaging figures ever to emerge out of hip-hop. At 30, he is one of this generation's cultural icons. After establishing himself as a film phenomenon, acclaimed actor, screenwriter, director and producer, Ice Cube (born O'Shea Jackson) comes back to his solo music career with a vengeance. He has spent most of 1999-2000 working at an astonishing rate, completing not one, but two full-length albums the first part titled War & Peace - Volume 1 (The War Disc) followed by the current album, War & Peace - Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc). The first volume War was released on November 17, 1998 on Priority Records with Peace following on March 21, 2000. Just as his classic Death Certificate presented a "Death Side" and a "Life Side", Cube explores the war/peace dialectic in well over 2 hours of new music. Further fueling rumors of a NWA reunion album, War & Peace Vol. 2 (The Peace Disc) opens with the simple greeting "Hell Low", a Dre produced selection (co-produced by Mel Man) featuring Dr. Dre and MC Ren; a comedic track "You Ain't Gotta Lie" featuring Chris Rock and appearances by Krayzie Bone on the commercial single "Until We Rich." Other notable artists featured on the album are Mack 10 and Jayo Felony with production on several tracks by Chucky Thompson, Battlecat, and Puffy to name a few. The War record allowed Cube to throw down the gauntlet on tracks like "Dr. Frankenstein," "Once Upon A Time In the Projects 2" and on the single "Pushin' Weight," Cube raised the stakes for the present day rap game while reclaiming his legacy. War provided cutting edge soundscapes with mega-platinum rockers Korn making a guest appearance on "Fuck Dying." Cube performed with Korn on their "Family Values" tour. "To expose Korn fans to my music is cool, because most of their audience is only exposed to my movies. It reminded me of when I went out on Lollapalooza (1992), where I was the alternative to that alternative show" says Cube of the experience. Although Cube keeps it gangsta on the Peace, LP, Vol. 2 is more dance/club oriented using samples from popular party anthems crating a lighter mood. Cube can't say enough about the music. "War and Peace are my best records in years. The production on both albums is far superior to anything I've ever released. Peace is gonna be a different look; it's a different record than any I have ever done. Lyrically, War covers a lot of ground-moving from rap's battlegrounds to the Los Angeles killing fields." "Ghetto Vet," "Penitentiary" and the masterful "3 Strikes You In" are as incisive pieces of social commentary as he's ever penned. Just as every coin has two sides, Peace represents the other side of Cube. Ice Cube caught the rap bug in the ninth grade when a classmate named Kiddo challenged him in a typing class. "One day, he asked me if I ever wrote a rap before. I told him, you write one, I write on and we'll see which one come out better and I won," recalls Cube. He went on to form his first crew, C.I.A., with future collaborators Sir Jinx and K-Dee, and began hanging in the burgeoning South Central Club scene. Through Jinx's cousin, he met Dr. Dre and together they began rhyming for nightclub patrons over the hits of the day. "We was doing these dirty raps strictly for the club audiences," he says. "When that started catching on, we started making mix tapes. We would rap on what was going on in the neighborhood and they were selling. Eazy-E had a partner named Ron-de-Vu, Dre was in the World Class Wreckin Crew, and I was in C.I.A. We were all committed to these groups, so we figured we'd make an all-star group and just do dirty records on the side." That all-star group would become known as Niggaz With Att itude (NWA). In early 1987, Cube wrote "Boyz-N-The-Hood" for Eazy-E and "Dopeman" and "8-ball" for NWA and they went into the studio to record. He knew he was doing something different, but wasn't sure about his prospects. "The rap game wasn't looking too solid at that time, so I decided to go ahead and go to school." When he left for The Phoenix Institute of Technology, the records were just hitting the streets. By the time he completed his degree a year later, both Eazy's and NWA's singles had sold hundreds of thousands of copies. He came back to write the rhymes for the albums that would be Eazy Duz It and Straight Outta Compton and the world would never be quite the same. NWA's Straight Outta Compton, in retrospect, was the most influential album since The Sex Pistols' Never Mind the Bollocks. Straight Outta Compton didn't break taboos so much as blow them away with rapid-action scattershot. The excitement they inspired was proportional to the outrage they incited. Newsweek dismissed the record as "The Godfather in gutter language." FBI Assistant director, Milt Ahlerich, sent a letter to the label condemning the record as encouraging "violence against and disrespect for the law-enforcement officer." Ahlerich warned, "Advocating violence and assault is wrong and we in the law enforcement community take exception to such action." Sales rocked past platinum. "Straight Outta Compton has had the biggest impact on rap music than any other album to this day," says Cube. "We opened the door where you can say exactly what you really want to say without having to sugar-coat , without having to hold back." But by 1989, things were beginning to sour between Cube and Jerry Heller, then NWA's manager. Cube was involved in writing 10 of the 13 tracks on Straight Outta Compton, including the entirety of "Dopeman," "8 Ball" and "Express Yourself" and he felt he was due more than the $30,000 that he received for records that had sold 3 million units. "I was broke before I jumped in that shit, so it wasn't hard to walk away. I preferred it that way," Cube recalls. "At the time the two producers that was worth fucking with was Dr. Dre and The Bomb Squad. If I couldn't get Dre, I was going to the Bomb Squad." He broke east and began collaborating with Public Enemy. Energized by the rush of liberation and inspired by the exchange of ideas with Chuck D and the other members of the Public Enemy camp, he turned in the stunning Amerikkka's Most Wanted. "Fuck you, Ice Cube!" went the chorus of "The Nigga You Love to Hate," and immediately the hip-hop nation was screaming it. The record went gold in 10 days, platinum in three months. "I can never play out," smiles Cube, "because people are still biting my styles from that record." In his book It's Not About A Salary: Rap, Race and Resistance, Brian Cross wrote of the album's impact, "Amerikkka's Most Wanted sought to give a face to (the) criminal underclass and this face was to be furrow-browed, jheri-curled, beanie-clad face of Cube himself. Cube to this day is the foremost hip hop meta-critic, providing listeners not only with stories, but potential criticism of his practice from different perspectives." The follow-up EP Kill At Will went gold just as quickly. In contrast to the booming "Endangered Species" remix and the club friendly "Jackin For Beats," "Dead Homiez" was a surprise. When it was first released, Cube ran the risk of the appearing soft, exposing a vulnerable, sentimental side; instead, audiences embraced the track. He had correctly measured the depth of emotion amongst his violence-weary fans. "Dead Homiez" created an entirely new theme for gangsta rappers. Cube was thinking seven steps ahead of the game. "I was reading a lot of books. I was just learning about the world, paying attention to world history, political views. Up to that point, I was just rolling through life trying to get money," says Cube. His readings "gave me my freedom mentally to deal with this world. The main focus on what I was learning was coming from Minister Louis Farrakhan and the honorable Elijah Muhammed. I did a lot of self-studying knowledge of self, because I'm far from a follower." On Halloween 1991, Ice Cube's second solo LP, Death Certificate had advance orders of over a million copies and debuted at number 2 on the Billboard Charts. Death Certificate spoke to what it meant to be a young black male in an increasingly pressured space, one strained by deindustrialization, drug economies, state repression, police brutality, and immigration. Released just months before the LA riots, it singularly captured the tenor of the times, the feel of a generation. On April 29 1992, Death Certificate sounded prophetic. That year, The Predator, debuted at #1 on the pop and R&B charts simultaneously and went platinum in four days. The on-the-corner commentaries of "When Will They Shoot?, "I'm Scared," "Now I gotta Wet'cha" and "We had To Tear This Muthafucka Up" were rounded out by the hits "Wicked" and "It Was A Good Day." Cube had arrived as the chronicler of his generation. Lethal Injection was his fourth album in four years, but although it also went platinum on the hot groove of the George Clinton collaboration "Bop Gun" and the haunting "Ghetto Bird," Cube felt the rap game changing subtly. "At that time, nobody wanted to hear that kind of rap. The whole (conscious) era had peaked with the release of the Malcolm X Movie. The G-funk era was coming in. It was a whole different tone in the music. People didn't want to take rap that serious," he says. "I was doing movies, directing videos, trying to produce other groups," Cube says. He had directed dozens of videos (he has done 20 to date) and his filmmaking career was set to take off. He had always struck a compelling image in his own videos, whether the rending "Dead Homiez," the pulsing "Steady Mobbin,' or the frantic "Natural Born Killaz." Based on his amazing performance in John Singleton's "Boyz in the Hood," however, he was in demand. He went on to appear in "Trespass," "CB4," Charles Burnett's "The Glass Shield," Singleton's "Higher Learning," Anaconda," and most recently costarred in "3 Kings" with George Clooney. After co-screenwriting the script "Friday" with DJ Pooh - a balancing, hilarious view of a day in the life of a couple of brothers from South Central - Ice Cube followed up with "Next Friday" the successful, top grossing film which outsold blockbuster films "Stuart Little," "The Green Mile," and "The Hurricane" it its first week becoming the most successful New Line Film next to the Austin Power's sizzler. Cube also executive produced and starred in "Dangerous Ground" and "The Player's Club," a film he wrote, co-produced and directed to critical acclaim. The movie grossed over $25 million in domestic receipts alone. "People always ask, "When are you gonna stop doing records? Or 'Do you prefer doing movies or records?" Cube respon ds, "If opportunities present they self, you take them. I think I can do this from all different sides of entertainment," he says. Cube somehow also found the time to oversee the production of a number of homies. Two of them, Mack 10 and WC, joined him to become the Westside Connection, after a few successful outings. "I was tired of doing solo albums," Cube says. "I wanted to feel the group thing. With me, Mack 10 and WC, our chemistry was so tight that the Westside Connection was born." The group's allegiance to the West courted controversy. "Our whole purpose from the beginning was to make sure that people wasn't gonna just snatch our style from under us and give us no credit and no props," he says. "I'm not really tripping on straight being from the west coast. But when I was doing it, I heard a lotta shit being said about the west coast, so I stood up for the west coast." With Bow Down's double platinum sales, seems there must have been a lot of bi-coastal unity after all. Westside Connection is scheduled to release another album May 2000. Finally it became time to return to the solo spotlight. "When you trying to do records, write a movie, produce a movie, it's hard to make good music. I wanted to put all the other stuff down, be finished with The Player's Club and do my album, he says, "War & Peace is my best record since Death Certificate." Although hip-hop fans are notoriously fickle, Cube has stayed atop the games for over a decade. "I still sell the same amount of records. I still get a big reception," he says. "In hip hop, people always want new artists, but when I really get down, nobody puts a record together better than me. So I'll always be here. Long as I stay consistent and keep my heart in it, I'm a be here."

first guitarist of faithless was dave randall but he has left faithless to start his own soloFaithless!! The first guitarist of Faithless was Dave Randall but he has left Faithless to start his own solo project 'Slovo' last year (2000) His first album will be released in late summer 2001. Nemo will play the guitars now on Outrospective and can be seen on stage! Jamie Catto was also started @ the beginning of Faithless and did vocals on Reverence and Sunday 8 PM. He also wrote tracks. He has also left Faithless to do his own things and touring across the world with the band '1 Giant Leap'. Faithless will release their third album in July on Arista/Cheeky. Entitled Outrospective, it will be preceded by a single "We Come 1" in May. Outrospective was written and recorded between Summer 2000 and Spring 2001. It elevates Faithless’ often-celebrated eclecticism to new heights, and covers the broadest sweep of emotions and atmospheres from melancholy to mad love, from glorious empowerment to bittersweet tales of love gone wrong. Outrospective throbs with a very real vitality. Outrospective was conceived after a lengthy break away from Faithless’ relentless touring schedule, a factor which helped form the melancholy mood and lyrics of Sunday 8pm. Faithless, had after all, spent four years out of five touring since the release of their revelatory debut Reverence (released 1997), as they literally took their music to any place that had shown an interest in the record. This meant that the band found themselves in such unlikely situations as playing shows in the Arctic Circle, on golden sands in Puerto Rico and under armed guard in Turkey. Having been largely ignored by the mainstream in the UK, they returned from their travels as veterans of the worldwide live scene, something that few bands in their domain could lay claim to. Their epic house singles such as "Insomnia" and "Salva Mea" had an unmistakable impact and influence on the sound of contemporary dance music. Often imitated, never bettered, as they say. The album’s eclectic scope (house, blues, soul, rap, and folk) stood out in a time of no-risk policies. Maxi Jazz had spent years prior to joining Faithless rapping far and wide, DJing on pirate radio in London and running his own record label. His faith (he is a Nicheren Shashu Buddhist) informs his extraordinarily powerful lyrics ("a true millennium man" — The London Times) and he is the charismatic frontman of the band’s live act. Sister Bliss, a classically trained pianist and successful house music producer in her own right, is without doubt the world’s number one female DJ. It is Bliss who has the pleasure of roadtesting Faithless’ new tunes off acetate, often fresh from the mixing desk. Rollo’s sister Dido has performed lead vocals on tracks on all three Faithless albums (including "One Step Too Far" on the current album) and her debut album No Angel (co-produced Rollo) has since topped the UK and US charts. Talent runs in the family. Rollo, who once admitted that he "can’t play an instrument, can’t dance in time, and can’t remember any melodies", doesn’t play live with Faithless — "pointless", he reckons, as he "couldn’t play anything onstage anyway". Sister Bliss alleges that their studio relationship is "telepathic, symbiotic". "He gets on with the broad strokes, textures and colors — that’s how he hears music, he’s got that synesthesia (a phenomenon where sounds have color), he says ‘make it really sad, like a rainy day, I want to hear thunder’ — and I get on with all the anal fiddly bits." Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz are now the public face of the band. Both fiercely intelligent, Maxi Jazz’s Buddhist worldview complements Bliss’s challenging opinions and encyclopedic house music knowledge. 1998’s Sunday 8pm repeated the success of Reverence, spawning three more hit singles (including the ecstatic, evangelic "God Is A DJ"), was an enormous critical success and in 1999 received nominations at The Brits, the MTV Europe Awards and was one of the twelve Mercury Prize nominations. To this date it has sold in excess of 1.2 million copies worldwide. Add to that the 1.5 million that "Reverence" sold and 4 million singles and you have one of Europe’s biggest dance artists. There was more touring including a stint co-headlining across South Africa with The Prodigy, and the headline slot of the Muzik Awards tour. They are widely regarded as one of the finest live acts of our generation. Maxi says, "When I’m on stage I see couples who are at least 65. I see disco kids who scream whenever I move. I see people in their thirties, who listen intently, squeezing their eyes shut and pumping their fists whenever they hear lyrics they like. There’s no such thing as a typical Faithless fan and I love that". Bliss continues: "When people come to our gigs, we want them to be lifted. Changed. Empowered. Moved off the ground." Despite claims that they wouldn’t follow the panoramic heartbreak of Sunday 8pm with more of the same, after early listenings to certain tracks off Outrospective it becomes clear that, sometimes, stadium melancholy is what they do best — the sweeping melodrama of "One Step Too Far" (vocals by Dido) the hazy lament of "Crazy English Summer" which featured vocals by Faithless debutante Zoe Johnston, and Maxi’s rainy Autumn rap on "Not Enuff Love". This time, however, the flipside to these swoonsome atmostpheres takes the form of the rampant postivity of the Philly Soul of "Muhammed Ali", Maxi Jazz’s devotional to the great man, and the dedication of love of the delirious single "We Come 1" ("I’m the left eye, you’re the right, would it not be madness to fight?") Outrospective starts with a fanfare that signifies a deep-seated confidence and ends with the gigantic soul house of "Liontamer", in between it maps uncharted territory for the band, as well as redefining familiar Faithless templates. It thunders, basically. In August 2000, Sister Bliss said "I want this next album to be a groundbreaking one. I want this to be the peak of our creative powers." It looks like Faithless can add prescience to their manifold talents.

In 1992, Andre incepe sa compuna muzica, improvizand un mic studio in camera lui. Roberta Carter Harrison, vocea de pe meoldiile "Let U go", "I don't Wanna Stop" si nu in ultimul rand "Hold You", se intoarce desemenea. Daca iti faci timp sa asculti "No silence", vei intelege adevratul motiv care se afla in spatele modului in care ATB compune si traieste muzica. A pus deci bazele unei scoli in Bochum, impreuna cu producatorul, partenerul si prietenul sau Woody. "The School for Engineering and Audio Producing" este o scoala de productie unde producatorii tineri si ambitiosi pot gasi calea catre o cariera de profesionist in muzica.

In seturile lui puteti recunoaste cu usurinta artisti precum Kid Creme, Jerry Ropero, David Penn, Dennis Ferrer, Dj Fex, Claude Monnet, Born To Funk, Aston Martinez, Wawa si altii.

3. Ce statut are Pulse Records? 5. Nu e vara ca in Constangeles! 8. Aveti divergente cu alte trupe? Beef-uri? Diss-uri? Neimportante. 9. :x
